The Arts Committee's aim is to promote learning and teaching through the arts at BNS/BCS by contributing our own skills, time and resources. There’s an astonishing depth of talent and experience in our parent body. BNS/BCS is crawling with writers, musicians, dancers, photographers, filmmakers, performers and arts educators! This year we have completed a wonderful mural project, set up gallery visits, contributed to the CEP for the arts, run movement, art and theater projects in the classrooms and secured sound equipment for performances. If you are a BNS/BCS parent who cares deeply about arts education please join us. Bring your idea for a classroom activity, an afterschool program, a trip, an arts resource, a grant. Next year’s aims are taking parent artists into the classroom, planning Arts Day and fundraising.
